Today is World CBT Day, which was launched by the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (@WCCBT.org) to reflect on the importance of cognitive and behavioral therapies to global health. World CBT Day is timed to coincide with World Health Day, launched by the World Health Organization! CBT, or cognitive and behavioral therapies, are evidence-based treatments that help us to manage emotions, overcome daily problems, improve quality of life and achieve valued goals.
